TC's Wells praises New York principals Who Pushed for Diversity Pilot

 

In an Associated Press story that appeared on Latino Fox News, TC's Amy Stuart Wells praises New York City teachers for pushing for a diversity pilot program in city schools. She says, however, that  American educators could use policies like magnet schools and targeted recruitment to reduce segregation and that "alot more could be done" to achieve racial balance.
