Welcome to the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Project (CAMHP)!

Our Mission

The goal of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Project (CAMHP) is to join students and faculty across various psychology disciplines at Teachers College (TC) that are interested in child and adolescent mental health to promote collaborative, cross-discipline research, discussions, and clinical training. Our vision for CAMHP is that it will serve as a platform for collaboration and dissemination of child and adolescent mental health research across the clinical and counseling departments, as well as throughout the wider TC community.

3 Goals of CAMHP:

  1. Research collaborations to develop, test, and implement evidence-based parenting interventions adapted for ethnic minorities and high risk youth.
  2. Clinical practice and training for doctoral and masters students in evidence-based, parenting prevention interventions and risk assessments
  3. Dissemination of research through seminars, outreach, and collaborations with the wider TC community, schools and community organizations.

CAMHP was made possible by the Provost Investment Fund of Teachers College at Columbia University (PIs: Dr. Cindy Huang & Dr. Christine Cha)
