Teachers College is again the number-one graduate school of education, according to ranks from U.S. News & World Report.

The rankings appear in the March 10 issue of the magazine and in the U.S. News Guide to the Best Graduate Schools, both of which are on the stands now.

Last year, TC shared the number-one ranking with Harvard Graduate School of Education, but this year the College holds the top spot by itself.

Both the magazine and the guidebook also include a profile of Tanya Cobbs Leslie, director of TC's Office of Career Services. In that article, Leslie points out that not all Teachers College graduates aspire to careers as teachers or administrators:

"Some might want to be psychologists. Others are looking for a career in a business setting. The common thread is that all of these students are, in some way, educators."
