Building a Planning Calendar

Associate Dean William J. Baldwin has asked conference planners to help him build a planning calendar. By December 1, he wants information from event organizers about dates that are definite, dates that are tentative, and if specific room preferences exist, what those preferences are.

The good news is that there are a lot of weekend and evening activities at the College. Unfortunately, that's bad news too.

Getting conference rooms has become an issue and the solution is better planning and scheduling for calendar year 1998--January through December 1998.

"If we spread events across the available dates, we will probably be able to meet most needs," Baldwin said.
