Jay Heubert (Organization and Leadership) received this year's annual Harvard Graduate School of Education's Alumni Award for Outstanding Contributions to Education. Past recipients of the award include Thomas Sobol, Theodore Sizer, and Thomas Payzant. As award recipient, Heubert was asked to make remarks at the Graduate School's pre-commencement activities. John Allegrante (Health and Behavior Studies) delivered the keynote address at SUNY Cortland's Fifth Annual Scholars' Day in April. Allegrante, a 1974 graduate of SUNY Cortland, spoke on "Behavioral and Educational Intervention to Improve Health: Lessons Learned from Two Decades of Collaborative Research."
