Inauguration of Lee C. Bollinger as 19th President of Columbia University

The Trustees of Columbia University in the City of New York celebrated the inauguration of Bollinger as the 19th President on October 3, 2002.

The Trustees of Columbia University in the City of New York celebrated the inauguration of Bollinger as the 19th President on October 3, 2002. The official Investiture Ceremony took place on Low Plaza at 10 a.m. The festivities included a 5K Run/Walk starting at Grant's Tomb, hosted by the Columbia University Department of Physical Education and Intercollegiate Athletics, as well as multiple academic symposia and an evening celebration at Low Plaza where the new President was introduced to Columbia University's student body.
