Helene Andreu, dancer and author, has created a book that will serve as an indispensable guide for anyone interested in American jazz dance. In Jazz Dance Styles and Steps for Fun (1stBooks Library), Andreu presents the most comprehensive jazz dance book on the market today. Helene Andreu has extensive experience as both a professional dancer and trained dance instructor. She studied ballet, tap, jazz, modern, folk and ethnic dance in New York and has performed in at least 14 musicals, Off-Broadway operas and operettas. She received a master's degree in dance education from Columbia University's Teacher's College and has taught dance in private studio, colleges, community centers and adult education centers. Jazz Dance Styles and Steps for Fun is Andreu's third book.
