More than 150 esteemed Teachers College faculty and experts will present on wide-ranging topics at the 2015 annual meeting of the  American Educational Research Association (AERA) , the nation's largest professional organization devoted to scientific study of education, taking place in Chicago this week.  

• Janet L. Miller, Professor of English Education, will receive the Mary Anne Raywid Award of the Society of Professors of Education (SPE) at AERA on April 18. 
  
  
• Xiaodong Lin, Associate Professor of Cognitive Studies, will chair the Presidential Session “Fear of Failure Prevents Students From Learning: Perspectives From School Leaders”—the panel for which will also include Lily Din Woo, Director of TC’s Cahn Fellows Program.
