Peter Coleman, Professor of Psychology and Education and Director of TC's International Center for Cooperation and Conflict Resolution, is quoted in an editorial in National Business Review on positive peace. Editor Nevil Gibson quotes Coleman's observation that, where negative peace negative peace seeks mainly "to eliminate overt forms of violence...positive peace fundamentally concerns problems of injustice and oppression and the needs for a more equitable social order that meets the basic needs and rights of all people."
