The late Morton Deutsch, the TC psychologist who helped found the field of conflict resolution.
The late TC psychologist Morton Deutsch was five years old when he first protested injustice -- his exclusion from a softball game by older children. As a teenager he organized a group of busboys to strike at a Jewish resort in the Catskills. In 1985 his book Distributive Justice laid out a comprehensive understanding of the various distributive justice principles, including winner-takes-all, equity, equality and need. Read about Deutsch's ideas on justice in TC psychologist Peter Coleman's blogs for Psychology Today and The Huffington Post and check out Coleman's past entries on Deutsch on these sites.
