Mrs. Brens-Watson is an experience professional in the field of higher education. An active member of NAFSA: The Association of International Educators, Mrs. Brens-Watson has served as Region X Chair, Regulatory Ombud, and NAFSA Membership Committee Chair. Her expertise ranges from regulatory compliance to cross-cultural and social adjustment. As Director of the OISS at Teachers College, Mrs. Brens-Watson focuses on the development and implemention of support services for the College's large international student and scholar population. She is also the liaison to key government agencies, as well as the College's Principal Designated School Official and Responsible Officer for the F-1 and J-1 programs. She is proudly the recipient of the 2012 NAFSA Region X's James O'Driscoll Distinguished Service Award. She holds a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration from New York University.
Dr. Patricia Gibson is the Associate Director of the Office of International Students and Scholars. Her responsibilities center around providing advisement and support to visiting scholars, J-1 exchange visitors, and F-1 students. In addition, she oversees the International Student Presentation Fund.
Patricia earned her doctoral degree from Teachers College, Columbia University, a Master’s degree from Soka University of America.
In her capacity as Assistant Director of the OISS, Mrs. Sanghamitra Ray's responsibilities center around providing support to TC's F-1 and J-1 students, including planning and implementation of new international student orientation, J-1 student employment information session, and advisement on a host of issues, including, but not limited to visas, employment, and travel.
Mrs. Ray holds a masters degree from NYU in International Education and Cross-cultural Studies and Immigration Law from CUNY SPS.
