Resources for Online Teaching & Learning

Before taking online courses at TC, students are provided with a variety of orientation resources and experiences designed to help them succeed in the online learning environment. Here are a few examples.
This learning module is designed to help faculty as they begin thinking about their programs, provide documents and resources to guide them throughout the process, and showcase exemplary e-learning assets that we can use as models as we design and develop online programming. If you are interested in taking this course, please contact Office of Digital Learning at digitallearning@tc.columbia.edu
Our office lab space (Zankel 23A) has a computer station where faculty can experiment with video creation. The station has a Windows PC with a professional mic, to ensure high audio quality. This will give you an opportunity to explore the tools TC has for video creation, with the support of the office.

While working with the Office of Digital Learning development team, faculty will be given access to various resources that support the planning and design of their online courses and programs. TC faculty should contact the office directly for further information and access.
