Keller Honored by Mayor Bloomberg for VSA Arts Festival

On May 29, Richard Keller, Director of the Office of Access and Services for Individuals with Disabilities was honored by Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg for his and TC’s commitment to “ensuring all children have access to arts-based programs, including dance, creative writing, dance, drama and music…”

On May 29, Richard Keller, Director of the Office of Access and Services for Individuals with Disabilities was honored by Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg for his and TC's commitment to "ensuring all children have access to arts-based programs, including dance, creative writing, dance, drama and music…" The award was delivered by Matthew Sapolin, Executive Director of the Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities. The ceremony took place during the two-day VSA Arts Festival, in which TC and District 75 of the Department of Education have cooperated for more than two decades in providing children with disabilities the opportunity to showcase their artwork. During the festivities more than 2,000 students participated.
